the cairns queenslander apartments is good overall. it was one of the nicer hotels we stayed in in australia and it was a relief to actually have our own bathrooms. there were two beds, a dining table, outdoor patio, and kitchenette with silverware and pots, pans, etc. if you have a family and intend to cook, the kitchenette is great.
