While the Blacksburg office is super neat, Rackspace corporate can work against us sometimes. The Blacksburg office isn't part of Rackspace's core business, so we get forgotten at times. Though in cases of increasing corporate wankery, being forgotten is sometimes a blessing. Rackspace has a history of falling behind and catching up on salary.2/5(1.6K)

This is supposed to be a foot in the door role, but when it comes time to look at moving to another (better) department, the process is horrendous unless you know the right people. Cloud Office is also bleeding talent, many tenured and more technically savvy Rackers have jumped ship and move to better, more fulfilling roles outside of Rackspace.4/5(17)
