Feb 11, 2011 · Check here: Check Status of RTI Complaints / Appeals: Central Information Commission (CIC) Online It says "signed copy awaited" When you submitted the complaint on line, at the end of the process a receipt pdf file would have been generated. You need to print that out (normally it is 2 pages) and sign on each page under the word "VERIFIED".

Now status is showing signed copy awaited. If they're expecting signed hard copy then what is use of applying online? And no address is given where to send this signed copy. I think these are the tricks by CIC to stop public from filing complaints. Seems useless and wastage of public money. Atleast they can respond to the complaint

Sep 12, 2011 · I was able to find the complaint and even mine is in the status Signed Copy Awaited. I think that is the default status as soon as the complaint is lodged. Because i logged the complaint on 13/07/11 and the status is as on 13/07 I guess they are banking on people not submitting a hard copy of the complaint so that they don't have to act on it ...

05 july 2015 just keep on reminding the office that you are yet to get posting letter from the directorate, this situation is normal , in several cases it takes one full year oo.. as long as they delay your post would be iven is a kind of guarantee you get. if not they would say no posting when such no posting is given you can move the high court under art 226 r/w art 14.

Moreover, after filing, when sender happens to check status after a few days, a message appears that hard copy awaited. Why cannot soft copy from encrypted software be accetable?
