It all started about 2 years ago when my Wife and I decided to take a look at a larger home due to our having an additional baby. We unfortunately found a home that was the right size with Ryland Homes. We took a ride out to one of their new Communities in Winter Garden Fl.

We built a Ryland home in Summerville SC, a little over a year ago. The paint is the poorest quality they could get. Scratches and rubs off easily, and doesn't touch up well. My entire downstairs is wood floors, and they look really good, but are very very soft and fragile.

The AC system was improperly designed as they used a 2-ton cooling system to service a single 280 sq ft room. HVAC experts puzzled over this design. The poor design led to continual dampness and rampant mold growth in that room's air handling system.
