May 20, 2012 · Silverline typically has 2 lines in any certain type of window. Their upper end one is typically marginal and the lower end one is typically horrible. Maybe look into Simonton's builder series if you have to go cheap. Alot of times it may only cost about $50- $80 per window to upgrade into something a little respectable.

Jun 30, 2006 · Silverline is the only window I use foam in the frame because of the large hollows and it does help and I might add it's the only window I believe where foam does make a difference. There quieter and a little warmer. Most pro's don't like the window because it;s available at HD and very few dealers can contend with that.
