For Underactive Thyroid "I had a partial thyroidectomy in 2007. I've been on generic Levo 88mcg for about 10 years now. Maybe it would be different had I been started on Synthroid from the get go but I've tried Synthroid two times, once at 75mcg and this week at 88mcg and the results were the same.

Synthroid is all i had taken up until 2 years ago, i started taking cytomel with the synthroid. All of you saying synthroid does not work you may need to take cytomel also. Our body needs T3 and T4, synthroid is only made up of T4 not everyone's body converts T3 into T4 that is what cytomel is T4.
