It was claimed by E-trade that they had information that the external account was associated with fraud; and abruptly closed my E-trade account. It is not clear to me how they came to that conclusion, as the external account is with one of the largest banks in the US, and provided no explanation or evidence of wrong-doing on my part (as there was none) or of the external bank.2/5
