Travel guard is the worst. DON'T trust travel guard. I cancelled my flight do to medical reasons and was not able to fly, I called for a refund and explained the situation for my cancellation, but was told because of a policy I had to wait 2 weeks before the departure of the flight. Get your travel agent to intervene for you. They will have more clout than you will as an individual because they need to keep the travel agent's business and too because the travel agent can spread the word within the travel community if a company is not responsible.
