The company describes the function of the IR headset and explains that you have to have line of sight to make a good connection however unless you don't move your head or relax in a chair the connection will be OK. Aug 30, 2011 · Buyers beware!! Do not buy TV EARS! After less than 3 months a crack formed on the ear piece. I called to get warrantee replacement, but I was told that the crack, which is clearly A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT is not covered by the warrantee.

If you are hearing the TV while it is on the charger, the unit is not charging. Therefore, when you put the TV Ears on your haed, they won’t work because the batter is not charged.
