Do NOT give up your seat for vouchers, and don't expect to use them to reduce a ticket price - it doesn't work that way. The first problem is that ticket prices for voucher users are higher than the same flight booked online (you have to call to book if you're using a voucher!)

Apr 27, 2012 · mars - I don't think the "16 hour transit" was the result of a delay. The way I read it was the OP's itinerary just happened to include a 16 hour layover for which he "forgot to mention to my travel agent to fix me up with an accomation(sic) option at abu dhabi."
