today i received a phone call from my mother about some long distance phone calls that appeared on her telephone bill through USBI. When she called the customer service for USBI they had told her that i (her son) had opened up and account using her phone number, when i know i did not.

Feb 25, 2011 · Got my bill from Verizon and noticed long distance charge from USBI for Vartec. The bill was for a long distance charge going back to Dec. 2008. I phoned USBI and they said they are just passing the charge from Vartec and for me to contact Vartec. After several phone calls and two letters, Vartec said they would reverse.

Well my next phone bill included a refund from USBI after a several hour call effort to both Att and USBI. BUT I now have $15 dollars for new USBI charges missed in thje last bill, AND ATT charged me $7. for each long distance carrier to correct the Cramming event.1.2/5(17)

Jan 23, 2013 · Are there any class action law suits against USBI Long Distance? My grandmother was recently charged over $300 on her home phone bill from AT&T due to some bogus company called USBI Long Distance stating "someone" called from her home phone and caused these charges. She has gone round and round with AT&T and this other company.

When I receive my monthly Bill from AT-T i notice a page from USBI and on that page they charge me for a long distance plan, I have one with AT-T but when I call the number on the USBI bill they transfer my call to five or six different agents and none of them can help you .

She transferred me to Nationwide Long Distance (NLDS) anyway; and I was not allowed to lodge the complaint. Customer service at NLDS received my call.in addition to the four dropped calls, I have now spent 20 minutes on the phone over the $4.95 transfer fee. Customer service canceled my long distance service with them at my request.

This month, my third bill had a total of 239 long distance charges and another cramming charge from a company called travelersvmail.com for $12.95. I have never used this service or heard of them either! I did get AT&T to remove long distance from my line. I never even asked for long distance in the first place -- especially not at .33/minute!
