My active experience going to VFS Global in Houston was absolutely amazing. Particularly Shahnaaz! I ended up needing to go to Houston twice and through some extra hoops in order to apply and process my visa and I was quite flustered and distressed. Shahnaaz could see how distressed I was and did her best to help me out. An absolute star!

2- First they insisted that the minor should have accompanied the sponsor as they need to take photograph of them. When i explained that i personally visited the Dubai VFS office and they confirmed that only the photograph for the kids is required, Balquis's response was that was what the Dubai Office said so we have nothing to do with it.
