After purchasing Scanning software from VueScan both Basic and Pro. The software would not scan with out printing VueScan all over what ever it is that I scaned. I reloaded it three times, but the watermarks continued to be on what ever I scanned. I informed the company Ed Hamrick <[email protected]> and he gave me a fix that didn't work at all.

Reading "The Vuescan Bible" is a help, but it won't teach one how to scan, just the settings to use initially for different applications. Also, don't expect the software to hold your hand and simply press a button to get good negative film scans. Jul 18, 2012 · I agree that it is unfair for you to be punished by the person because you are an employee of the company but not the owner or a shareholder. "If your scanner isn't on this list, VueScan may still work with your scanner if you can find a WIA driver (Windows) or an Image Capture driver (Mac OS X) on the scanner manufacturer's web site. I read his support page and I saw the paragraph above.

I work for a large Software company and used my work email to write to Ed Hamrick of VueScan explaining the issue requesting a refund. Ed Hamrick of VueScan refused to give me a refund because 30 years ago, he had a dispute with the company I work for and he said in effect he was happy to have the opportunity to rip me off.
