I live in a big city so there are plenty of Walmarts and I live at one end of the city but work on the other. There are times I have to stop at Walmart near work and I have tried to "price match" their own ad and I'm told "we don't price match our ad". Take amazon for instant, i use amazon Pantry, they deliver stuff right to front door. It was the exact same price as walmart on most food items. But, if it was more you just send a quick message to them and they refund the difference.

It is especially insidious when the new superstore opened it demanded and got a significant amount of subsidies aka. corporate welfare and while marketing itself as good corporate citizen.
