I continued to chased up refund still with Webjet Exclusives, who informed me that the person who was supposed to do the refund forgot. Finally when I got my refund after another 2 to 3 week wait and cancelled the claim with my bank, my bank tells me they quite often get complaints from customers with this company. Go figure.

When I called Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia directly they had much better customer service and offered full refund with my cancellations, but if you book it through Webjet then you have to convince them (and yes I literally had to spend hours convincing them), to follow the policies. It's been days and they still haven't got back to me.

We were only advised it wasn't a direct flight a week ago when we asked for our flight details. up until then, we thought it was a direct flight.While we were resigned to the fact it's a stop over and not direct flight, I think anyone booking with Webjet Exclusives should be warned that they can effectively take away a day of your tour.We haven't used them before, and wont use them again.
