Oct 10, 2018 · Wells Fargo representative (in my case it was a lady named Jessica) was claiming that this last payment was counted somewhere else. I checked with Excel and found that it was not. It just was one payment missing. The basic trick is that Wells Fargo ignore one valid payment to make escrow balance look less.

That is a rate of less than $700 a year, but my actual property taxes are (looking at my tax bill right now) $3,230.47. Wells Fargo says there is a projected shortage of $3,327.62.

Complaint / review text: Every year since we've had Wells Fargo they send us Escrow overage/shortage papers. We usually have a shortage and end up paying it in full or stretching it out over 12 months and our payments only increase a small amount.

May 29, 2018 · I was going to try to do a refi but that would add even more to the mortgage and fees are ridiculous with these banks. These banks are "crooks" and when will we all "wake up"! Don't Do business with Wells Fargo or take out a mortgage as they'll rake you with extra's and fees.
