Dec 01, 2019 · There was a pause and then she replied that they (Westjet) had a bag in Winnipeg which they believed was mine and which was not claimed at the baggage carousel after the flight. Naturally I was surprised to hear that the bag was there as I was assured that it was lost.

WestJet never ever waits for the passenger, even when its not the passenger’s fault for missing connecting flights. Customer service is awful, they refused to give me another flight saying there were no seats available, and then other customer service representatives say there are plenty of seats available.

Poor customer service. I booked a flight from google search. When directed to airline website the date changed and I purchased it without noticing the change. I contacted westjet and they were not able to change the date without forfeiting my first flight because I purchased a basic fare.
