I ordered a book online through their click and collect service this is the first and last time I’ll be ordering from them I waited nearly 2 weeks for the book to be delivered to there Halifax store I emailed customer service twice to try and find out Why it was taking so long and my emails were never answered no apology nothing!

Cons. Blame culture and only focusing on negatives. Company seems top heavy and stores are expected to run with very little staff, staff cuts all the time which puts even more pressure on staff and affects customer service.Only focus is on staff costs and losses not on the customer.4/5(717)

I contacted customer services by email and phone and they said they would get back to me, nobody has 3 days later. 14 days in and no item and whsmith couldn't care less. The cheeky guy on the phone even said you can continue to ring the branch if you like or I can cancel the order. :-O Still waiting.....

No e-mail telling me this, no apology from the customer service number I rang, I just have to wait apparently, very poor. The only good thing about this ordeal (which gave the 2nd star) was the customer service in WHSmith Salisbury, all staff I dealt with were polite, apologetic and clearly concerned about how long I was waiting in store.2.8/5(62)
