Aug 04, 2019 · Like you, I discovered that the Discovery Program only includes 30+ of Wyndham's 200+ properties and does not include Florida or Hawaii. I also discovered there are a myriad of other issues with Discovery program including fees that were not disclosed like booking fees and maid fees in addition to the relatively common "not available" landmine.

He introduced us to Club Wyndham Discovery, and explained it as a 2-year program that included Perks, in which we would receive 400,000 points to "try out" the timeshare program. We asked about the New York location and he told us that it was beautiful, but it was a lot of points.

Just wanted to add my views on Wyndham Timeshare and my experience as a "Discovery Member". Heres the real kicker! I have 17,000 points left in my account, and because of a Wyndham computer glitch my points have been "Frozen" and unusable for now over 4 months!! 16,500 of these points are what they call "rented points".

Nov 06, 2016 · Yes there are a few world mark by Wyndham associate locations on the eastern side. But overall is it a bad choice to do thier discovery package of 200k points for 2k. I do want to try a timeshare out, I'd be eventually looking to buy resale. But I feel there might be a better trial run than buying from Wyndham directly the discovery program.

Dec 22, 2017 · The Discovery program even within that set of resorts have different availability (than the regular Wyndham points owner availability) which may make some resorts easier to book at less than 10 months but other resorts and specific unit types harder to book through the discovery program.
