This began in March 2003 and has continued randomly since for a total of two different occurrences to-date. My daughter returned home after a five minute drive and parked our 2001 grand prix gt in our driveway. 15 minutes later the vehicle had smoke coming out from under the hood. I tried to open the hood but the latch must have melted. By the time the fire dept came out and pried open the hood the whole engine compartment was engulfed in flames.
