Toyota sent a notice of a warranty enhancement program in 2017 on this issue, describing the proposed repair as the installation of "voltage adjustment wire harnesses." As instructed, I took my 2010 Prius to a dealership on January 19, 2018 and was told that it required a repair, but the parts were not in stock and were on back order.10/10

My 2010 Prius hybrid accelerates from electric to fuel mode on its own. I have taken it to Toyota dealership 2 times for problem. Toyota servicemen states it will occasionally do that depending on the mode the vehicle is in. I find it to be very dangerous as I do not have control when it will happens.

Our 2010 Toyota Prius is great on gas mileage both in city and on highways. It is a smooth ride and is very quiet. We have never had any issues with the motor, battery, or any other mechanical parts of the car. The only issue is the headlights. We have had to replace one headlight 3 times.

2018 Toyota Prius I have had the 2018 Prius for 5 months and have driven 7000+ miles. I took a trip Labor Day weekend from Florida to NY and the traffic was extremely heavy. The car performed beautifully. I traded in a 2010 Prius with 90,000 miles so I can say with confidence that the 2018 Prius is terrific. Mileage is better.
