Sep 22, 2017 · Agoda had a better price, so I booked it through them. The web page said that breakfast is included in the price. When I got the confirmation and the voucher, it says that breakfast is not included. This is a business trip; I need the breakfast every day. So total, the Agoda reservation will cost more than a direct reservation through the hotel.

1) I booked twice on places where they showed good reviews and comments but was disappointed when I stayed there. In the review columns, it seemed that although there were hundred of reviews were done but Agoda only published the good ones. I never put any language filter so that I can see reviews from different languages too.

The whole incident was shocking and caused alot of stress and financial cost. I have used Agoda for 10 years and booked many hotels without any issues. However I will never ever book any hotel with Agoda again as they are a horrible company and have zero responsibility when things go wrong with their booking systems.

And if you search the Agoda website now to book a Hotel for Chester Guess what, the first hotel offered is the Hotel Indigo Chester. So I must assume they are paying Agoda to be number 1 in Chester and also not to publish poor reviews. I will not book a Hotel with Agoda again as clearly they and their rating system cannot be trusted.
