FotoConnection is a scam and buying from them one is under a big risk!!!! I ordered Canon Rebel XTi digital camera under the price that was stated on their web site and recived a phone call from the sales person (Sam) the next day pushing me to buy some additional stuff (like batteries) I didn't even need.

I called FotoConnection, they apologized and I got permission to send the battery back. The postage cost me $20 but I figured at least I'll get a refund of $79, the cost of the battery. After several weeks I received another battery, the same as the one I returned. Upon calling FotoConnection I was told again to send the battery back (at my cost).

They have several complaints against them and are notorious for shutting down failing/scam operations and starting new ones. I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. In early December, I looked online to buy my girlfriend a Canon Rebel XTi camera. While Century 21 Electronics was not the least expensive site, their products were priced great and they had a 5 star rating. I ordered a fairly expensive package and paid for express shipping to ensure I would have it well in advance for Christmas.
