"I purchased a new manufactured home in January 2008 paying cash for it. Having never lived in a manufactured home before I shopped for insurance before choosing American Modern over my regular insurance company that had insured my homes for years because the yearly premium was a few hundred dollars less. Oct 14, 2011 · I have american modern on my car. My dad has Hagarty. His insurance is about $80 more a year. But it sounds worth it. With American Modern, at least how mine is setup, you cannot drive your ride to work, and has a 1000 mile cap a year. They also wanted to make sure the car was on my property, locked up at night in a secure garage and so on.
