We did our own run/walk fundraisers the last few years, and this year we had no one step up to chair the event. Plus we were asked by the school board to stop asking the local businesses for so many donations, and since our run/walk prizes, t-shirts, water bottles and money raised was almost all local business donations we had our hands tied.
