I take bentyl as needed anytime I feel the onset of my stomach cramps, but typically I don’t need it more than once a day. As soon as I take it, the cramping subsides and I no longer get to the point of extreme pain. But in my experience, once my stomach cramps get to their worst point, I don’t find relief with bentyl.

I have been taking Bentyl for a few years now, and I only take it when I have symptoms. Sometimes twice a month, sometimes I skip months.. It works miracles with stomach pain, which is why I take it, but I do get a lot of the side effects. I thought I was the only one! I'm glad to see a strong 10% of people seem to get the same thing.

Bentyl works very well and I have no complaints. The only side effect I experience personally is dry mouth but I'd definitely rather have that than severe pain. level 1. lapeet.
