CancelOn refused to pay the more expensive rate since it was there mistake, tried to put me in a 2 star hotel that I could have got online for $115 a night, not close to the $300 a night cost I paid at the intercontinental Presidente.

So when I came across an amazing rate for a hotel, when they were "sold out" through others, and every other hotel in Dusseldorf was crazy rates because of a conference, I was wary. However, I needed a room, and so I took my luck and booked Cancelon, through a link on Tripadvisor.

Dec 21, 2019 · Cancelon is a fraudulent and deceptive… Cancelon is a fraudulent and deceptive company with very shady business practices. STAY AWAY! We found a room on booking.com and paid in full for the ocean-view room and all hotel fees. I was surprised when I received the confirmation to see that it came from a company called cancelon.

I "booked" a hotel in Jackson Hole, WY through Tripadvisor/Cancelon. The hotel never received my information, my card was charged, Cancelon did just what their name says and reached out to me to "Cancel" the reservation that never existed because rooms were totally booked.
