Old complaints and issues, there is a time limit of 18 months from your return from holiday. Members can’t be held responsible for the behaviour of other guests. Civil/ criminal matters between individuals – we can’t get involved in any civil matters that you may have had with other people or individuals.

Complaints can only be registered in English. Once we have received your documents, we will review your complaint and provide you with any advice we feel necessary. Once we have a complete file we may contact the company, asking them to review your case. We must stress that ABTA doesn’t award compensation or make a decision on your case.

A reply from ABTA, who are still suffering from high numbers of complaints against their Members. It has not dawned on ABTA, that they have insufficient staff, as well as a hopeless website with the wrong number, staff who are so inept that they "LOSE" complaints-if indeed that is what they did, instead of deliberate delays.

Check if the company you booked with is a member of ABTA. You won’t be able to complain to ABTA if they’re not a member. Register a complaint on the ABTA website.
