Wageworks is a company designed to get extra money from the unsuspecting employee who is offered this service from their employer. Some of their rules and business practices are not designed to benefit the consumer using the service, but to fill the coiffers of the wageworks company. One rule they have is the "pay me back".

Dec 26, 2011 · WageWorks is a waste. WageWorks is less than forthright about how they evaluate the receipts provided for reimbursement from Flexible Spending Accounts. I have found no consistency or transparency in how they interpret the validity of a receipt and a reluctance to put anything in writing about how guidelines are used to disqualify a receipt.

I then, told him that I did accidently submit one claim as a duplicate. Then, he said one of my claims was missing 1 piece of paper and therefore was likely to not be reimbursed. I told him I will be contacting the attorney general of his state and my state to look into their company because of all of the complaints against wageworks.
