I've been bitten in the rear twice on two separate occasions from getting "Certified Refurbished" from Dell Outlet in the past - I was curious if they got better, or I just had rotten luck with getting lemons?

Dell Inspiron 7580. So many bad reviews here which I find astonishing. After 11 years sterling service I replaced my Studio 7 Dell laptop which could no longer accept Windows 10 up-dates (hardly surprising really as it was originally loaded with Vista!), After some research I chose the Dell Inspiron 7580 and a very fine machine it is too.

May 28, 2013 · I've had limited experience with Dell, but 80% of that experience has proven to be negative, mismanaged, exasperating, and not worth it. I think picking up the phone to call Dell about a problem (they generate much more than their fair share!) is similar to shooting yourself in the KNEE to commit suicide. They have a 5.4 Reseller Rating.

Aug 13, 2018 · With Certified refurbs, the Dell Outlet is probably the only place I would buy them from, because they are coming /from/ Dell. Not all Dell Outlet machines are refurbs either. You can specify a certified refurb, scratch&dent, or even new models that were previously custom orders that were canceled or rejected delivery.
