Jul 08, 2008 · I was informed from Dorrance Publishing Company that it was my responsibility to point out to them smudges, etc. on copied illustrations when proofing the proofs that were sent to me, though the smudges, etc. were created by them, not me. I disagree that I should be responsible in pointing out things to a publishing company that they created.

Mar 29, 2012 · Fraudulent company. I don't know if Dorrance is a scam but I have a book in process that I first submitted almost 18 months ago. The process has been very slow, with no correspondence or reporting on progress except an email to tell me my 2nd (and many months later 3rd) payment was overdue and work would stop on my book.
