DR Horton offered all these "wonderful closing cost incentives" if we used their lender DHI mortgage, as my husband is a disabled veteran. All they do is give you a much higher interest rate than you would get at other lenders and then sell your mortgage at a profit to earn back those "credits".2/5(21)
