Jan 22, 2020 · You may want to try Artxanda hill, right by the funicular train, people park there and use the funicular to get to town. You may also park in the outskirts (Bilbao is a very safe town) and then take the metro to town.Otherwise, there´s no free parking (except in August).

Can´t miss it, it´s right on the Arenal park, facing the entrance to the Old Town...if you want to go to the Old town, it´s right there,underneath the park. Hotel Jardines in the Old Town, or Iturrienea Ostatua (my favorite), Basque Boutique and Sirimiri are fine, not expensive and right on the heart of the Old Town. Petit Palace Arana, too.
