I bought a 2016 10 ton 25' gooseneck trailer direct from Gatormade trailers several weeks ago . I am not the type to complain but this trailer has been a complete headache and they have done me wrong.

Jan 04, 2017 · DO NOT BUY A GATORMADE TRAILER. In my opinion, not only are they built with very poor quality but are unsafe to haul with. I've owned a 26' dual tandem gooseneck now for 4 years, i bought it new from the factory in KY. I have now spent more in repairs on this trailer than it initially cost me to buy ($9,200).

Sep 10, 2013 · Also thought about upgrading to the 10K lb equipment trailer, just to have the extra capacity for any future adventures. They're made in the US (actually, here in KY) so I like the aspect of "buying local" so to speak. But I've seen repeated complaints about crappy wiring, brake problems, and poor customer service.

Jan 31, 2017 · I have a freind that bought a Gatormade 20 + 5 GN tandem dually trailer. I also tracks down the road sideways. I has a torque tube that is off center 2" front to back. Their response was "it is yours". I also have a Gatormade Ardvark style equipment trailer, tandem axle single wheel 16K rated. We have looked it over pretty close and it seems OK.

The welds are perfect and all steel part's are machine cut or stamped not cut with a torch, hit with a grinder and welded on. It pulls and back's grate. Looking at the two you are comparing I would not want a trailer with 1' side's.

So I have a trailer that the jack handle hits the step light, spare tire with the valve stem against the neck, scotch locks, and messed up jacks.

Feb 16, 2018 · I owned a 16 ft 7000K Gatormade trailer for a few years, until I needed a larger trailer. It did not get used a lot, I never had any problems with it when I did use it. I replaced it with a used 12,000K trailer of a different brand.

We have been looking at gooseneck trailers for a while and have narrowed it down to two brands. We can get a Gatormade trailer that is actually made in Somerset, Ky which is about 30 minutes from me or we can get a PJ trailer just across the Tennessee border.
