Jan 12, 2018 · I felt and expressed that should the medical aid not judge each case on its own merit as the operation was not for cosmetic purposes but a necessity for continued use of my jaw as it has been the cause of excessive pain and suffering since the age of 12. I felt that the medical aid has failed me at the time when i needed it the most.

My husband is Dependent o1 and is hard of hearing and according to the Medical Aid's Emerald Value packet he is allowed for bilateral hearing aids every 3 years to the value of R8000 each.
