In late 2000 we spent almost £20000 having Hammonds refit all four of our bedrooms. The saga of getting them right lasted almost a year. Since then we have gone back to them due to various problems, peeling handles, discolouring of veneers in the main bedroom, etc. Imagine our horror when, just outside the guarantee period, the laminate surfaces in 2 bedrooms began to peel off.

We have had two bedrooms and a study fully fitted and are very happy with the quality of the Hammonds furniture and fitting service. There were a few minor, cosmetic problems but these were dealt with efficiently and the finished result is wonderful. We would recommend their products.

May 17, 2016 · The customer service team appeared shocked that any one would want to change the design. The whole complaints procedure if fragmented with no one listing to the customer. They insist that this separator is an integral part of the design. I just smell bull s***t. From day one a clean look was part of my design.

I did not go through with this company quote and a lot to do with it was the attitude of the company, in stark contrast to the only other review on this website which I would like to suggest is a fake. I was quoted £9000 for one wardrobe, with 'special offer' this week only of £3000.

My poor mother who suffers from severe depression was having her bedroom done afternyears of savings (on benefits) and yearsbof building up the courage of allowing it to happen. I can’t write how badly Hammonds have set my mother back mental health wise. I am in tears myself as I write this.

We have had 3 different bedrooms fitted with Hammonds furniture in the last month. Our first dressing room and Rialto fitted by Max and the loft furniture fitted by Chris Ellis. Both fitters absolutely brilliant and we would recommend the Hammonds bedroom furniture every time.
