Jun 02, 2014 · I don’t know how much the vector system really contributes to reduced felt recoil. Wheresoever the bolt ends up, there’s still that initial, inescapable in-line thrust. I’d say it’s the Kriss’ 6 lb. mass in general and the additional mass of the slider hardware that soaks up felt recoil.

It didn’t matter if it was a Carbine, SDP pistol, or SBR. Some owners have mitigated the problem with 500 rds+ of ammo as well as storing their Vector with the bolt locked open.

If you can own a class 3 firearm there is absolutely no reason to go with a KRISS as there are many better options (and even then I would say that you will find that a semi-automatic M4 carbine is more useful than a full-auto KRISS.)
