Nov 20, 2017 · A Kenora lawyer has launched a $7-million lawsuit against the Law Society of Upper Canada, claiming the provincial regulator maliciously prosecuted him. Doug Keshen filed a statement of claim this summer in Ontario Superior Court after the law society dropped a case against him concerning allegations he had exploited residential school survivors he represented.
