Aloha! My husband and I are staying on the Big Island for the first part of our honeymoon, and after our car rental experience, I wanted to share so that others can benefit. I used NKT Travel for two rentals, one on Maui and one on Kauai. Prices were unbeatable at Avis and Alamo in a time when others complained they could not get cars. A quick google search indicates that it's operated by a person living on Maui.The NKT website mentions that they have "a great deal with Car Rental Hawaii" - yet the contact phone number for both businesses is the same, so it appears that the same person operates both businesses.
