May 16, 2018 · NRAM - i have an old Northern Rock Together mortgage. Part mortgage part unsecured loan, taken out in 2007 for £30,000. We are on a self managed DMP paying them a reduced agreed amount. We recently made a full and final offer on our NRAM loan which they have turned down, we increased it slightly and they have turned it down again.

Jun 21, 2016 · So it could well be that the mortgage that is from NRAM has terms that secure any other borrowing ie the unsecured part of the Together mortgage. Whether NRAM will act on this is something you need to find out. It used to be that the terms of the unsecured loan allowed for an increase in its interest rate should you clear the mortgage.
