Palace "NOT SO" Elite You are supposed to be allowed a grace period to cancel, it is either 5 or 7 days. After that period, your credit card should have no issue crediting your account. Some companies make it difficult though. You should make sure you have submitted a written correspondence to the company you have been scammed by.
