Poundland is an awful place to work. The hours are bad, the pay is bad and the management is bad. I work at Poundland now and people never get punished if they do something wrong so they carry on doing it because they know they wont do anything. The manager sits in the office from 7am-5pm and then goes home and never does a late shift.3/5(1.8K)

I wonder how Poundland can treat customers like theives. THE ONLY THING I EXPECTED WAS AN 'APOLOGY' BEFORE EVEN ASKING ME IF SHE CAN CHECK MY FRISBEE - WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN. SO UPSETTING. My ethics are stopping me to post her name on social site. I sent an e-mail to Poundland management to see if they can make the staff apologise at least now.

I think this is unacceptable behaviour, especially for a UK based store employee. If the person in charge doesn't speak basic English, they should not be working with customers or dealing with customers complaints. Will we ever visit Poundland again? Definitely, no.
