    Maybe the difference is, SOB is usually to do with the lungs or lung conditions, where as DIB can be due to the throat problems, mouth problems, chest injury etc, not sure:confused: for example : if some-one has tonsilitous and their throat is very swollen they would have difficulty breathing not SOB. but at the same time if you are SOB it may cause you to have DIB I think ;)
