I guess I thought Purolator and its employees still had some modicum of decency despite all the horror stories I had read about them but how wrong & naive I was! The deliverer of the parcel had apparently not rung the bell, most probably as some kind of ayback because of a complaint sent about Purolator to the BBB a few weeks back.

Purolator executives may have voted on the packaging. It is probably a normal process- employees / executives voting on packaging. I ask the people at the counter what’s up with the packaging. It turns out they had a story. According to the clerk, a Purolator employee had come in and said that he voted against the packaging! He didn’t like it.
