They could but they prefer to swindle and fob you off . My situation is that I am mainly bedbound I am awaiting an operation and my stress levels are through the roof because last night at 3am I was checking my Bank and saw that SCRIVENS had indeed set up a Direct Debit to take payment which I fortunately was able to cancel .

I have been going to see Scrivens for the last few years and personally can't fault there service and attitude, I get on well with the manager at the Norwich branch and the girls that work there have always got the time to help, also had a hearing test there that went well. After checking with the OCCS [Optical Consumer Complaints Resolution 0344 800 5071], I found this to be a blatant lie. On returning to SCRIVENS and confronting them, I was told that a copy of the original prescription would cost me £10.00 to cover admin fees! .....AVOID this company!
