I strongly agree Solmar seem to be money grabbing, deliver poor service and refuse to acknowledge any issues. Their in country agents appear to have no grip on actual status of properties, any complaint or query to either Solmar or the agents is met with inaction at first, ineffectual action if pushed, and subsequent denial.

This villa (number 23 by the way) has a kitchen window which failed to lock and could be easily slid open from the outside. This fact was not learnt of until near the end of the week and was not reported to the company until our return to the UK where we mentioned it in our e-mail of complaint to SOLMAR VILLAS.1/5

Stayed in this Villa 11th - 18th July 09. The group didn't want to leave! It's a beautiful Villa, the pictures don't do it justice. In a perfect location to walk into Nerja town, although takes about half an hour, not 10 minutes as the descriptions say!4.3/5(3)

My only other complaint.is to Solmar Villas who need to look at entry time for new arrivals. 4 o' clock is very late, it is usually 1 or 2 with most companies. But when customers are arriving at 10.00 as we did having to wait until 4 to enter accommodation is unacceptable.4/5(1)
