We have gone through the complaints process with STA and have been told they are 'looking into this with the airlines'. If this were for a single flight then blame could lie with the airline, but for all our flights (6 in total!) this can not be the airlines fault.

I specifically asked for their head of customer services and apparently thats all that STA Travel has, a call centre and have no designated Head of Customer Services.
