Jun 23, 2012 · The manager of the store got involved and called the customer service number on the back of the cards (800-571-1376). After explaining the situation to the Vanilla customer service rep, the store manager eventually became frustrated with Vanilla's lack of help. Vanilla's rep told me and the store manager "there is nothing we can do".

Jan 28, 2020 · Yes, Vanilla Visa is a rip-off. They begin charging the $2.50 a month fee in the seventh month after it is purchased, but the gift recipient cannot know that date. You check your balance online and it lists the first date you use the card as the date you "activated" it.

On Dec 20, 2014 I sent a Vanilla Visa Gift Card via US Postal Service Priority Mail to my daughter for Christmas. She never received it in the mail. I called the Vanilla Visa Gift Card customer support (1-800-571-1376) at 10:00 pm Mountain time to have them cancel the card.
