I called the Vanilla Visa Gift Card customer support (1-800-571-1376) at 10:00 pm Mountain time to have them cancel the card. I was told that I must give them the 16 digit card number from the front of the card. Well, the card was lost in the mail, but I had the 16 digit card number on the receipt from Walgreen's where I purchased the card.

Jun 23, 2012 · I went into a men's clothing store to use $133 I had left on 2 Vanilla Visa gift cards which were given to me as a Father's Day gift. The clerk at the store scanned them but the transaction got hung up in a "pending" status. They were not "approved". He cancelled the transaction and scanned them again but now they showed zero funds available.
