May 01, 2015 · A POTS landline is 1000 times better than a VOIP system depending on the internet. Power goes out and no backup, no phone. Time for the cell phone. Only problem ATT is trying to price POTS out of business as they want everyone on VOIP systems. Not only that, ATT has filed to end POTS in 2016 in many states (know so here in MI).
